Made of 1/4"
hot
dipped galvanized steel the double strap not only hangs the gate it strengthens
it and holds the corners square to prevent sagging. 3" between
straps to fit gates 2.75" to 3" thick.
All double
straps fit a 3/4" diameter pin.
The position of the eye on this strap reduces the space between the gate and the post to as little as one inch. Ideal for use with more ornate sleeved posts. Depending on the thickness of the post the gate can be mounted even with the front of the post or slightly in front of the front edge of the post. Gate can be opened about 135 degrees. available with either 3.0" (8324) or 3.5" (8325) between the straps.

Where two gates come together use our Throw Over Loop or Cane Bolt.
Between Post Hinge installation using 8800 pins. Gap between gate and post is 0.5" to 1.0".
