over hot dipped
Galvanized
or over Stainless Steel (BPPCG).
We
sell great product and that is why we are now seeing copies or "knock offs" of
our hardware. Unlike competitors, we never powder coat directly over
mild steel. Black powder coated hardware is supplied with stainless steel
fasteners.
Product
that is coated directly over the steel will rust and usually quite quickly.
Powder coating over a hot dipped galvanized is very difficult. In fact, many powder coating companies will tell you it cannot be done. Snug Cottage works with a top quality powder coater in Detroit Michigan where all of our black over hot dipped galvanized product is applied.
While price is very important to us High Quality is our primary concern. If the quality is not there then we do not sell it.
